Band Projects
Batucaxé is an amazingly active community. Though we are a busy group, with a full rehearsal and performance schedule, we still seek out ways to get together even more frequently, just for the fun of it.
One of the ways we share that sense of community is by helping each other in projects where many hands can make light work. On any given weekend we may be pulling weeds in a member's yard, planting trees, helping with a move, or just enjoying each other's company at a potluck. Our monthly Culture Nights also give us the chance to just be together while also learning more about the culture and life in Brazil.
